    As a pioneer in the venture capital industry across Mexico and Latin America, and a Kauffman Fellow, Adriana has managed +$1B in Fund investments as well as bringing +20 years of experience empowering the venture capital ecosystem and facilitating cross-border investments among multilateral organizations and the public and private sectors.

    She enjoys reading and writing, cooking, traveling and helping people/companies across the globe.

    COO & Managing Partner

    As an institutional investor at Fondo de Fondos for the last 10 years, he brings a unique experience investing in Funds and Startups across Latin America and United States while expanding the overall Venture Capital, Mezzanine and Impact Investing strategies. He has been a founder of a tech startup, hold numerous Board seats, and at 1200vc he brings institutional practices and the commitment to long-term value creation from Seed.

    He enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, traveling, gastronomy and meaningful conversations.

    Building upon his investment banking experience, and leading successful investments in FrontierTech (e.g. Cambridge Quantum Computing, and CureVac) as the next generation of the Talipot Family Office throughout its institutionalisation, Esteban leads the vision behind 1200vc as an evolution of how Family Offices can be active investors from the Seed stage towards local, regional and global value creation.

He also leads the strategic relationships with the EMEA ecosystems. As Impact Officer, he also leads the ESG & Thematic Impact initiatives at 1200vc.

    He enjoys to travel and to understand the local context, race sailboats, Type 2 fun activities, and the performing arts.

  • Our core team is complemented by an independent Investment Committee of industry leaders coming from a background in institutional investing (e.g. pension funds, endowments), designing innovating portfolio construction strategies for alternative investments, developing institutional ESG practices, and supporting frontier technologies from academia towards industry and society.

    Additionally, we count on the support of our Advisory Board, and our individual networks of trusted colleagues, which provides us a greater depth in specific domains and whom are excited to contribute to the development of the 1200 VC firm.

Instead of building a taller tree, we aim to become a forest.
